The Orthoceras is an ancient mollusc known for its striking black and white fossilized shell patterns, making it a captivating addition to any collection. These fossils are believed to hold grounding and protective energies, connecting us with Earth's history and the passage of time. This sculptured Orthoceras fossil horn can be both visually striking and spiritually meaningful, serving as a unique and beautiful piece in any setting. 

These Orthoceras fossils were found in the Atlas Mountains in Morocco. They are an extinct straight shelled cephalopods that lived during the Upper Devonian period, around 370 million year ago. They lived inside their shell, had tentacles they could use to grab food and used jet propulsion, squirting water to move.

Millions of years ago the Sahara Desert would have been a shallow sea. Prehistoric sea creatures Orthoceras  flourished in this sea and as they died accumulated on the seafloor. Their bodies were buried in the sediment and over millennia were turned into stone.
